Haines Battrick
Haines grew up in Central Otago, spent his high school years in Oamaru, a year working on a farm in southland before heading to Lincoln University where he completed a degree in Agricultural commerce and forestry.
Haines comes to the Agriplanz team from a senior biosecurity position at the regional council. Over his time with council Haines held a variety of roles from field operations in the biosecurity area to resource consent planning and auditing, environmental monitoring, implementing biological controls for pest plants and animals and developing regional policies for pest management.
Outside of work, Haines enjoys spending time with family and friends, following his kids around the country on their various sporting pursuits, catching up with the odd unlucky deer, floating around the sea trying to hook fish and scaring himself on the local mountain bike trails of Matangi station
